Hello Precix Business Partners!
We announced the transition back in 2016 to a new ERP system. Well, the time has come for us to make the move official! We will be going live with SAP on August 1st, 2017.
Our goal is to put forth better systems to take us into the future to service you and our industries better together.
In preparation for this transition, please note the schedule of activities below.
Cut Over (freeze period) – Friday, July 28th through Monday, July 31st
- During this time our systems will be frozen as we make making final preparations for go-live
- All orders will be received and entered into the SAP system on August 1st
- NOTE: order acknowledgments for orders received during the cut over will be sent on August 1st
- Production will be frozen during the cut over and resume August 1st Go-Live – Tuesday, August 1st
- SAP system will be live
- Inventory – we have built a multiple week buffer stock of our higher running product in preparation for any glitches to keep you and your customers interruption free
- We have also built in contingency plans for all processes through shipping to keep you serviced at go live I encourage you to pass on this communication within your organization. Please continue to use your existing contacts via Sales and Customer Service for any questions or concerns during this time, including myself. We appreciate your patience as we prepare for this major event at Precix and look forward to servicing you better well into the future.

Precix has some exciting news!
We are pleased to announce our new ERP system upgrade to SAP! Since January 2016 our team, along with our outside consultants, have been dedicated to mapping out the upgrade and to ensure a smooth transition for us and for you as our partners.
Our SAP “go live” date is scheduled for 4Q16.
One of the major changes and benefits with SAP will be the upgrade of order entry to full EDI for all orders. Your support in the coming weeks will be an integral part to ensure the accuracy of orders, scheduling, and timing.
Please be on the lookout for detailed communication from our team including a time line, next steps, and where your assistance will be needed.
Your suggestions and best practices for the transition are welcome and appreciated as well, so please share with us.

Work continues on a multi-million dollar capacity expansion that will see the company bring on 20+ press openings, 14 new deflashers, new deflash room, new inline washers and associated conveyance systems along with 2 new vision machines and and expanded vision room. All told capacity will double as compared to mid 2009.
